A Huge Family Shoot
This is, by far, the largest group I've ever shot. The light was not great, it was a grey day, and the sun was well behind the trees. It's 42 people...39 of which are actually looking at the camera! FORTY-TWO people. I'm actually pretty pleased with how it turned out, despite the blown sky. I used my new WB cap from Ebay and loved it, this is SOOC. I'll probably try to warm it up a bit before having it printed for them. I know this family is going to LOVE it, it's the first time they've all been photographed together.

6 I love hearing from you!:
Oh my goodness! Kudos for getting eye contact with the majority of that group. What a wonderful family--and great shot for them! Nice work!
Holy Moly! I am so impressed you managed to get 39 of them looking, you rock!!
Wow! You did great! I can't imagine trying to get that many people engaged with you at the same time!! I have a question about your wb cap. Do you point it at the light source or the subject? I have one but am confused as to where to point it to set the wb.
WOW that is a lot of people. I would break out in hives just thinking about having 6to get that many in one picture.
Hi Joanne, I pointed it where all of the people would be, before they got there. I need to read up on it though, to be sure I'm using it properly!
Good job! I have done a group that big once and wow! What a challenge it can be. You did great!
