Thankscamping Weekend 2010
We have an amazing group of friends and neighbors who love camping. This year, we decided to pack everything up and head to the mountains for Thanksgiving. It was COLD, but so much fun. We had turkey and ham cooked in a campfire, and just about every traditional side dish you can imagine. The weekend was full of good friends, food and hiking.

4 I love hearing from you!:
Looks like fun! I love that one on the sand in the last post too!
I have never had an outdoors Thanksgiving. Looks like a lot of fun. Fresh air is alwauys good for the appetite!
What a wonderful idea! I am sure that this is one Thanksgiving that the kids will always remember. Looks like you had a blast.
Now that is how to have your holiday food splurge and feel good about it. You walk off what you've just eaten. Looks like it was fun - wouldn't recommend it around here (30s-40s being the high temperature in the hills) - but looks fun.
